Goldfish Training Leads to Whale Training

Hi everyone: Remember the story we told you about 10-year-old Whitney winning a national video contest for training gold fish? Her grand prize was a weekend at the Mystic Aquarium in Connecticut, training beluga whales! http://www.mysticaquarium.org/ Jeremy Ritz traveled with Whitney and her mother last weekend, and Whitney had the time of her life. She had never been out of Vermont. She had never seen the ocean. She surely had never trained whales. Apart from grinning the whole time, Jeremy reports that she said “Her whole world opened up.” What a way to BE GREAT!
