Athletics & Health
Every day throughout the year, our Athletic Director and Program Staff work with club members to promote good health and fitness through a variety of sports, games, nutritional programs and cooking classes.
-
Team Games:
Members engage in a variety of team sports such as flag football, volleyball, basketball, kickball, baseball, capture the flag, and more.
-
Triple Play:
Triple Play is a program that encompasses the wellness of mind, body and soul. Developed by the Boys & Girls Club of America, this program helps members set personal fitness goals and increase their activity while learning about good nutrition . Kids interact with peers in healthy non-competitive game room activities that allow them to socialize and unwind.
-
Tournaments:
Under the supervision of the Athletic Director, various Club sports groups gear up to meet with teams from other local organizations for fun, energizing tournament action.
-
Outdoor Recreation:
During our summer camp programming, our Outdoor Recreation Director takes small groups on field trips to experience the fun of the great outdoors. Members learn kayaking, sailing, climbing and more.
-
Daily Challenges:
Daily challenges focus on team-building, interactivity and non-competitive games. These fun activities challenge members to think and play without the pressure of competition.
-
Girls on the Run:
This small group activity is designed for young girls, regardless of experience, to take part in track and running activities.
-
Healthy Habits:
Our Healthy Habits curriculum is a series of small group classes that focus on planning healthy meals, shopping for good food, and food preparation.
