WIth four sites serving over 2,400 youth each year, we are in constant need of supplies and equipment. Here is our current wish list and if you would like to donate or need more information, please contact Jeff Thompson or Marnie Long at 864-5263.
- Arts and Crafts Supplies:
We're looking for canvases and good drawing/watercolor paper, good brushes, paints (oil, acrylic and watercolor), charcoal, pastels or any other drawing, painting and sculpting materials
- Bar Stools (up to 6)
We are looking for some bar stools in excellent condition, so that our youth can use our computers in the Cyber Cafe. The computers are on a bar height counter and average chairs don't reach the level needed. We are looking for up to 6 chairs!
- Basketballs (up to 20)
With basketball as one of our most popular sports offered, we're in constant need of both men's and women's basketballs. We have space for up to 20.
- Cooking Equipment
We are thrilled to be able to offer our members dinner twice a week through our Kids Cafe program, and are looking for additional cooking equipment for our kitchen. Large pots and pans, serving dishes, and bakeware are always needed.
- Digital Cameras (4)
Our digital photography program is growing by leaps and bounds and to keep up with the demand we're in need of 4 cameras with 5+ megapixel capability.
- Digital Video Camera (1)
As our digital arts program grows, we'd like to be able to offer digital video recording beyond our current capability and are searching for a digital video camera.
- Freezer
As we increase the food served at our sites, we buy more and more food in bulk and to accommodate this, we are in need of an additional freezer.
- Jewelry Making Kits and Supplies (10)
Several of our members are very interested in jewelry making and would love kits or other supplies to fuel their creativity.
- Musical Instruments and Equipment
We currently offer music lessons in guitar, drums and piano and are in need of additional instruments (especially percussion!) and sheet music. We also offer recording and editing and would love any equipment for recording or producing music.
- Sewing Machines (up to 3)
We offer sewing and fashion design on Fridays and are in need of extra sewing machines in good to excellent condition that could be used by 4th - 12th graders
- White Boards and Markers (3 sets)
We use white boards and markers throughout our sites as informational and educational tools and are always looking for replacements.
- Yard Equipment
Our 62 Oak Street site is in desperate need of a snow blower, a leaf blower, and new rakes to keep up with the yard work!
