After School Programs
A Safe Place to Belong
IAA Site After School Program (Kindergarten – 3rd Grade)
With support from the Burlington School District, the Boys & Girls Club provides licensed childcare for our youngest members, creating a safe, welcoming place where children can learn, play, and belong. Located at the Integrated Arts Academy at 6 Archibald Street, our program offers nutritious meals and snacks, engaging hands-on activities, and age-appropriate academic support. In a caring and inclusive environment, children build confidence, friendships, and a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
The IAA site is open for students in grades K – 3rd, Monday through Friday between 3:00PM and 5:30PM (except for early release and vacation camps) during the school year.
Please note that for this program you must be a student of the Integrated Arts Academy (IAA).
Clubhouse After School Program (4th Grade – 8th Grade)
At the Main Clubhouse, members experience a thoughtful balance of structured learning and fun, relaxed recreation. Each afternoon includes homework support and optional academic enrichment, a healthy snack, organized and recreational sports, and small-group programs that empower young people to make positive choices and resist harmful influences. Youth also participate in hands-on cooking programs that build lifelong skills for preparing healthy, affordable meals. Every day ends with a hot, nutritious dinner, ensuring our members are supported, engaged, and cared for throughout the afternoon.
The Club is open to members in grades 4th – 8th at this site Monday through Friday between 3:00PM and 5:30PM (except for early release days and vacation camps) during the school year.
Teens: 9th Grade – 12th Grade
Our Teen Program (drop-in) provides a safe, welcoming space where teens can connect, explore their interests, and belong. Designed around what teens need and want, the program offers a mix of social, creative, and academic opportunities in a supportive, youth-centered environment.
Teens can join pick-up soccer and basketball games, participate in a dedicated girls’ night, create music in our production studio, or relax with ping-pong, foosball, and pool. Individualized academic support is available, including homework help and guidance with college and post-secondary applications, so teens can build confidence and plan for their futures.
Drop-in hours: 5:45–8:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Registration is required before attending.
